This past June, the Royal Bank Foundation generously donated $75,000 to the Care Centre’s Home with a Heart Campaign naming the 4th Floor RBC Residents Lounge.

RBC is celebrating local community heroes, and what I can say is that the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre does so much to improve the lives of Ukrainian Canadian and we are pleased to support them," said Kellie Sauriol, Regional VP of Royal Bank of Canada.

The Care Centre and RBC have a 14 year working relationship. "This is an example of RBC's commitment to assist healthy growing and prospering community and the care for our seniors," said Alexander Daschko, President of the St. Demetrius Development Corporation.

Daschko thanked all the volunteers who have committed their time, effort and resources to the Home with a Heart Campaign. He especially thanked the tireless efforts of Ian Ihnatowycz and James Temerty, Home with a Heart Campaign Co-chairs and the leadership of both Archbishop Yuri and Bishop Stephen Chmilar in bringing the Ukrainian community together.

This investment by RBC brings the Care Centre one step closer to the capital campaign goal of $9 million. The Care Centre is extremely grateful to RBC for their kind donation to the Centre.
